Answer is A. Upvote me and reply if you agree. None of the discovery (disco) or XRMservice endpoints are mentioned in the documentation for connecting to Power BI I linked and quoted below. Process of elimination and the fact that https://OrganizationName.crm.dynamics.com is the only URL that is noted in the documentation that is suppose to show you how to "Use Power BI" with the Power Platform/CDS/CRM/Power Apps. https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-platform/admin/use-power-bi "The Power BI for Office 365 cloud service works with model-driven apps in Dynamics 365, such as Dynamics 365 Sales and Customer Service, to provide a self-service analytics solution" "For the Sales Analytics and Service Analytics content packs, enter the URL of your environment, such as https://OrganizationName.crm.dynamics.com, where OrganizationName is the organization name of your environment, and click"

I think is C because within this module "https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/learn/modules/get-started-customer-service-insights/" is written: To Connect a Dynamics 365 environment to the Customer Service Analytics app: In the app in Power BI, click on Connect your data. Enter your Dynamics 365 environment's Service Root URL. This URL must include the path to the Web API for your environment and should look like: https://{your environment}.api.crm11.dynamics.com/api/data/v9.2/.

This would apply if you wanted to embed PowerBI in Dynamics 365 model driven app...to connect to the environment in order to have the data pull through to PowerBI this https://OrganizationName.crm.dynamics.com would be the one.

Web API url is not available as an answer, the discovery endpoint cannot be correct and you won't be able to get the entities on cds so the next clear answer is connecting via market place dynamics 365 customer service analytics and you will need only the URL of your instance for it. Answer is correct

https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-platform/admin/use-power-bi In this article , in the second Tip in Green they told : You can find your OData endpoint URL in the web client. Go to Settings > Customizations > Developer Resources and locate the URL under Instance Web API. Even me when i was using Power BI Desktop, to connect it to my organization i was using this URL : https://myorganization.api.crm4.dynamics.com/api/data/v9.0/ No one of theses answer is similar to this URL ! but i would choose the answer C

Shouldn't it be the odata endpoint from step 5 of this guide? https://www.powerobjects.com/blog/2016/11/18/connect-to-dynamics-365-data-from-powerbi-desktop/. Why is it just the base org URL (option A) as the correct answer?

Actually from the screen shot in step 9 of that guide, it looks like it should be C, since the /api/data/vx.x/ isn't in the list of options to choose from for the question. I think if I get this on an exam I'd answer C. Can someone please correct me if that's not right?

Okay, the correct answer is "C", looking at step 9, the example at the top of the capture field refers to "... / organizationData.SVC" and is the only one that allows you to select the option from step 10.

The answer is A from the explanations of other users and following this doc: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-platform/admin/use-power-bi which notes: "For the Sales Analytics and Service Analytics content packs, enter the URL of your environment, such as https://OrganizationName.crm.dynamics.com, where OrganizationName is the organization name of your environment, and click Next."

Hi, According to your link - Step 5 - service URL (And not step 9 - URL), The Only possible answer is A, because its the only answer not ending with Discovery or Organization .svc. Step 5 give an example of the right service URL: ending with ...api/data/v8.1/ So A is not complete but at least - Not wrong.
