This is one source, but not a definitive one I would say https://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/ie/en-US/78dcb5ba-5b68-4d35-be0d-bd64d768be8a/windows-server-backup-incremental-backup-not-working?forum=WinServerPreview

it seems that Refs is not supported yet (Server 2016-2019), it is not excluded that it will be implemented in the future.

Does it say so on the exam itself when taking it? I can't find any information at all, and this makes it very confusing. The only information I could find is ignore versions unless explicitly stated in the question and assume it's the basic Server 2016

" Local volumes used as targets for a backup must be formatted either with the NTFS file system or with ReFS. The ExFAT or FAT32 file system is not supported." I think Yes, bcs we are talking about TARGET not source...

Acording to my Test-LAB A is the correct answer -> it's possible. Created a refs volume and a backup job with windows backup -> Set Performance Options zu incrementel -> The Second Backup was an incrementel one

Trying to find the info for 2016, but in 2012, you can set it to incremental but on ReFS it is ignored and performs a full backup.
