I think the correct answer should be: 2,4,3. - The Workflow needs to be on demand to enable the the csr to send the email on demand using the workflow: - The Workflow shouldn't be added "as a global workflow", as you can find in the linked documentation, because when adding the worklfow as global workflow it can only be executed when activating or archiving the workflow, not when entering specific stages. https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/customerengagement/on-premises/customize/create-business-process-flow => "Add an on-demand action to a business process flow" => 10. Add a workflow. To invoke a workflow: Regards.

create, and then "create and activate" is very confusing which would lead to 2 BPF created but only one activated. I vote for Create and activate workflow on demand, create new bpf, Activate (without create!) or better yet finalize the BPF with all the stages, add wf and activate at the very end.

This answer is not correct. The workflow should be set to run on-demand,

Ok I agree with the answer but, I could perform the first step as second and the second as first then performance the Third step and the result will be the same. I am not constraint to follow this order of 1st and 2nd step so this question is very tricky…

I think the answers are as stated by majority of the people below. Found this link https://cloudblogs.microsoft.com/dynamics365/it/2017/03/28/business-process-flow-automation-in-dynamics-365/?source=crm hopefully this will support their claims.

1. Create a on-demand Workflow (you Cannot ad a child workflow to BPF) 2. Create BPF 3. Ad to Acknowledgement And Research stage. (Global is not the case since you have to run it on the stage entry). 100%

The answers are correct. It should not be an On-Demand because the question says the workflow should trigger on entering the stage (that means automatically). For On-demand configuration, the workflow gets added as a button on the BPF stage so that the user manually click the button to start/execute the workflow (which means on-demand you are triggering a workflow). Hope this helps.

Incorrect - because the workflow shouldn't be added as GLOBAL. Global Workflows are applied when a BPF is Selected, Abandoned, Completed, or Reactivated.... *NOT* when a stage transition occurs. Therefore the last step should be step 3, not step 5

You can't add a workflow to a bpf that's not created yet.

Question says that the CSR should be sending the email. So there is no need to put it as background. It must be on demand.

the correct answer 2,4,3. if the workflow is run in the background. you won't need to call it in BPF. will be trigger Automatically.

I believe the order is box 2, 4, 5. In agreeance wih Dude. The workflows needs to but run-on-demand not background

I don't think it's the global workflow area: On-demand global processes. When the workflow is dropped onto the Global Workflows area, the workflow is triggered on process activation or process archival (when the status transitions to an applied, completed, reactivated, or abandoned state).
