I don't really agree with this answer. Since the phone call activity is logged within the case, there is no reason to change the regarding as it is automatically asssociated with the case you are working with. On the other hand, the recommended answer says, "Change" implying that the call you are logging has the wrong associated record. Simply, create the Phone Call Activity from within the case, Add a Subject, Phone Number and descrption and you're done.

i also agree with that. When you create phone call directly from within the case, there is no need to change the regarding because the regarding automatically will be set to the originating case. "Enter a subject" is correct because in an uncustomized system the subject is required. You can't create a phone call without subject.

There are two ways to associate a phone call to a case record: 1. Select the case record > Timeline > Add a phone call activity > Add subject. 2. Activity > Add a phone call > Regard: Add a case record > Add subject.

It is also not good practice (in B2B environments at least) to link other records to a contact. Answer is 2,4,1. 5 is garbage - the question tells you it is an existing case

Agree with Dude, via this link you can find the answer, it clearly says the contact is automatically populated. https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/customer-service/user-guide-customer-service “ Add a phone call Open the record you want to add the activity to. If you do not see the Add Phone Call area open in the middle of the page, select Activities > Add Phone Call. In the Description area, provide a summary of the conversation with the customer. You must fill in this area before you can save the phone call. The Call With field is automatically populated with the customer name you select in the account or contact field. You can select a different contact, account, lead, or user record if required.”

2,4,1 Also, changing Regarding contradicts the requirement to display in Case timeline. If you change that value the Phone activity will get associated with a different record, and not showing on the case timeline.
