You are a Dynamics 365 for Customer Service administrator.
Your company provides standard support contracts for a total of 20 hours of email support. All 20 hours are for email support only. Phone support is offered as a premium service in allotments of 10 incidents.

The correct option to set up an entitlement template for the standard email support would be: Option C: Set the value of the Total terms field for an entitlement to 20. Set the entitlement channel option to Email. Set the value of the Total terms field to 10 for the Phone option. This option correctly sets up the entitlement template for the standard email support and premium phone support in allotments of 10 incidents. The "Total terms" field is set to 20 to cover the standard email support. Then, the "entitlement channel" option is set to Email and the "Total Terms" field is set to 10 for the Phone option to provide premium phone support. By setting up the entitlement in this way, the template tracks the usage of both types of support to ensure that customers do not overuse their allocated support resources.

The correct answer is B, because you have to set standard support, not both of them.

I think there is 2 records : - the first should managed "hours". You have to set "Allocation Type" to "number of hours" and set "Total Term" to 20 then add "Email" from "Entitlement Channel" with 20 in "Total Unit" value - the second should managed "incidents". You have to set "Allocation Type" to ""number of cases" and set "Total Term" to 10 then Add "Phone" from "Entitlement Channel" with 0 in "Total Unit" value

A. Set up an entitlement record for each account. Set the value of the Total terms field for an entitlement to 20. Do not configure an entitlement channel. If you don’t configure the channel, cases from any channel will be applied with the entitlement. B. Set the value of the Total terms field for an entitlement to 20. Set the value of the entitlement channel option to Email. You are setting up entitlement template for standard support only, not premium one, so you don’t have to worry about Phone Channel. C. Set up an entitlement record for each account. Set the value of the Total terms field for an entitlement to 20. Set the entitlement channel option to Web. Set the value of the Total terms field to 20. Set the channel option to Web? Web and Email are different. D. Set the value of the Total terms field for an entitlement to 20. Set the entitlement channel option to Email. Set the value of the Total terms field to 0. Add the Phone option. Set the value of the Total Terms field to 10. You cannot mix two allocation types in one entitlement.

I disagree. I think the correct answer is B because the question is specific to standard support.

Ah....disregard. I misread the answer. I think it should be read as: (FIRST) Set the value of the Total terms field for an entitlement to 20. Set the entitlement channel option to Email. (THEN)Set the value of the Total terms field for an entitlement to 0. Set the entitlement channel option to Phone. (Then - continuing)Set the value of the Total terms field for an entitlement to 10....(left blank)
