SO if we have the options: Minimun number of disks 6 10 12 virtual disk configuration: Mirros Layout and fixed provisioning Mirror layout and thin provisioning Partity layout and thin provisioning we must do a 6 disk to support 2 disk failure we must do a fixed provisioning to support tiered storage The answer: 6 and Mirrors Layout and fixed provisioning

The highest resiliency could be provided by using three-way mirroring or dual parity. Since the question doesn't state the types of mirroring and parity in the answers + we need to use tiering, the correct answer is "Mirrors layout and fixed provisioning". Storage tiering requires fixed provision. For the other part of the solution, since we gonna use mirroring, it means it will be three-way mirroring (the highest resiliency). To use three-mirroring we need 3 disks at least. Because we'll use storage tiering, we'll need 3 SSD drives. Which means 6 disks total.

so i think: you have 1 server = stand alone method therefore, you have: - Stores two or three copies of the data across the set of physical disks - two way mirror Requires at least two physical disks to protect from single disk failure. 5 for 2 disk failure - three way mirror OR - Parity Requires at least three physical disks to protect from single disk failure. Provsioning Type: storage tiers do require fixed disk provisioning https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-server/storage/storage-spaces/storage-spaces-fault-tolerance https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-server/storage/storage-spaces/deploy-standalone-storage-spaces https://nedimmehic.org/2017/05/01/how-to-configure-storage-spaces-and-tiered-storage-windows-server-2016/
