The correct answer is Two and Three. When execte the command Set-VMSwitch, show error. Set-VMSwitch don't apply to team. The command Set-VMSwitchTeam yes, so te first option is Two. Aftet execute Add-VmSwitchTeamMember, we have tree NIC in TEAM1 (NIC 1, NIC 2 and NIC4).

The given answer is correct. One and two. Your mistake is the name of the switch that is team, you think the command creates a team when it names the vmswitch as team

Next line: "Set-VMSwitch" : https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/powershell/module/hyper-v/set-vmswitch?view=win10-ps -NetAdapterName says: Specifies the name of the *physical network adapter* to which an external virtual switch should be bound. If you specify this parameter to convert a virtual switch, the external virtual switch is configured to allow the management operating system to share access to the physical network adapter. To override this behavior, include AllowManagementOs $false in the command So in this we set "NIC 1" (But was "NIC 2" removed ??) Next part: Adding the switch we previously created, to a team, and doing so with another -NetAdapterName.. (we had 2, here's another one = 3 ..) * I couldn't paste the whole thing in one go.. so had to break it down.. read in order: bottom comment, to top..

Quick test on Powershell on a server 2016 machine, run this: "New-VMSwitch -Name "test" -NetAdapterName "1", "2" -EnableEmbeddedTeaming $true -whatif (whatif is the greatest. best safety belt ever: Dear PS, I'm about to flush my entire forest down the toilet, but before I do so, please tell me what will happen if I actually press Enter and run my fakakte command = -whatif). 1) Whatif says: "New-VM will create a new virtual switch "test" (note: single switch named here). 2) Tried adding two strings past -Name : Whatif throws an error. 3) See: -NetAdapterName here : https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/powershell/module/hyper-v/new-vmswitch?view=win10-ps . Quoting : "-NetAdapterName: Specifies the name of the network adapter to be bound to the switch to be created. You can use the Get-NetAdapter cmdlet to get the interface description of a network adapter." If I get this correctly: We'll be creating a Single Switch that has two network adapters bound to it already ..

I think the first answer is "ONE", second answer.. "TWO".. or "THREE" (asking: "How many adapters")

yes, 2 and 3... if the second command was Set-VMSwitchTeam then it would change the team members...

Person , Ibs, Wanderlusting are correct .. Ans is 2 and 3 ... Because 2nd command in blue box is not valid it wont work. So after placing 2nd command the NIC's will be same as before (2) . 3rd command is valid, it will add 3rd NIC in the team :)

"Error - Set-VMSwitch : The switch type and member NICs of the VMSwitch with NIC Teaming enabled cannot be changed with Set-VMSwitch." So the answer should be two & three

https://www.veeam.com/blog/hyperv-set-management-using-powershell.html "when adding more than one NIC you don’t need to add the -EnableEmbeddedTeaming because it is assumed by Windows PowerShell when the argument to -NetAdapterName is an array of NICs." To remove 1adpater.. It sould be: Set-VMSwitchTeam ... not Set-VMSwitch
