The targetpath is incorrect though.. it should be either VHD/VHDX..not .wim ( even the exam ref says .vhd or .vhdx which specifies whether the new image should be gen.1/2 )

No, Dedup on ReFS is only supported on Server 2019, not 2K16 or 2K12

Rashad040, the syntax from your second post appears to be from this site. However, the syntax on the site isn't correct. In the paragraph below the syntax, they state -compute is needed but they left that switch out.

Rashad040, this syntax isn't correct. To install Hyper-V, the switch -Compute or a VMM compute package that contains compute is needed.
