Because in (*1), it's document for 70-741, "RAS gateway" is used for many times.However in (*2). it's for 70-740 , not used at all. Wrong. NLB is exactly for this purpose. You'll need NLB.

It's not NLB because the type of service is not identified in the question as one of the compatible services with NLB. It's "an APP, APP1" other types of services that are not traditional MS types need to be balanced with SLB.
