for A: There is no explicit mention of a "Root Cause Analysis" entity in the Dynamics 365 default knowledge management configuration. The Knowledge Base Management Settings wizard typically deals with entities like Case, Article, and other standard entities, not custom entities. and for The configuration for custom entities, such as adding a lookup to the article entity, is typically done through customization tools and forms rather than through the Knowledge Base Management Settings wizard.

The Answers should be : A / C / D / E > There's 2 ways to display the knowledge base article from a form : - Insert "Knowledge base search control" (answer C) OR - Insert "Subgrid" and choose "Knowledge Base Article" as Entity on Data source section (answer D) > Answer E is a prerequisites to enable Knowledge Article from the entity

Correct. Step 1: When you create an entity, you need to define if you want the entity to use Knowledge Article for resolutions by checking on Knowledge Management option. Step 2: When your entity is available for knowledge management, you need to enable to ability of searching through Knowledge Base by adding the entity in Embedded Knowledge Base Search. Step 3: The previous steps are to create a "soul" for your entity. Now you need to create a "body" by adding a knowledge base search control to the main form.

I don't agree with selection E. Whilst you can select Knowledge Management when creating an entity, it is greyed on existing entities. Therefore, selecting an entity in the solution and checking Knowledge Management is not a valid action to carry out.

ACE is correct and this is why: You can configure knowledge management for an entity either via the wizard in service settings OR in solution explorer by selecting the entity and checking the box. However, you do not need to add a subgrid for knowledge articles for your form, which makes D incorrect. Adding the knowledge base search control is enough for users to search, read, and rate articles. I just verified all this in Dynamics.

I strongly think this is ACD. enabling KB for an existing custom entity is greyed out on the entity options. But you can go through KB management settings and select which entities you want KB enabled. In conclusion, when you take action for step A, you dont need to go into the entity and enable KB usage.

And to link articles to a case, you can add a subgrid to the case and select which articles are related. So D must be in.
